PROFESSIONAL COACHING

SUPPORT AND PRINCIPLES OF PROFESSIONAL COACHING

Coaching is a profession framed by deontological and ethical rules clearly published and supervised by a recognized organization: ICF International Coaching Federation. This is a guarantee that your coach has the training, the experience and the standard you deserve. The professional coaching involves a continuous relationship focused on the client. It provides the support they require whilst working towards a specific goal: to achieve your objectives whilst staying true to your own values. On the basis of discussions, open-ended questions and tools, coaching offers a safe space to bounce back and encourage new avenues of reflection. This process involves reaching out to the client’s resources, values and potential, whether conscious or not. This approach is based on the following principles:

  • Each individual has unique talents
  • Everyone is responsible for their own success
  • Each client has significant, often dormant, potential, that simply needs to be unlocked, developed and realized
  • Everyone has all the necessary resources to succeed in both their professional and personal endeavours

Individual Coaching enables people to clarify opportunities, to make decisions and to meet objectives based on their own time frame and action plans.

Corporate Coaching provides support for a team or people in order to define, reach and exceed common or individual objectives within the company’s scope.

AS A COACH

I guarantee the process, you are guaranteed results. On that basis, it is up to you to define your goals and which path to take to help you accomplish them. Within this framework, my role is to:

  • Guide you towards a resolution of your problems by taking into account who you are, where you come from, your environment and your resources • Be present and mindful
  • Enable reflection and thinking processes by applying active listening techniques
  • Support you on your inner journey
  • Encourage your autonomy and empower you to make decisions
  • Make sure you take action towards your objectives
I look forward to meeting you and supporting you to achieve your objectives!

YOUR COMMITMENT

Commitment and persistence are key to your success. Time is on your side.

  • Engaging in a coaching process requires courage
  • Whatever happens, you always have choice. Do not forget: You are the pilot of your life.
  • The coach does not have the solutions but helps you to find yours.

Questions

Further information about the process

After a first meeting in which we get to know each other, if we agree to move forward together, we will start your journey through a coaching process at your own pace and according to your own needs.

First sessions are dedicated to determining your objectives of the process.

It is important to have clear direction in our meetings so we can evaluate what we will achieve.

Most of the time in the corporate world, we talk about KPIs (Keys Performance Indicators). I prefer to talk about KISS: Key Indicators of Success.

In each meeting, you determine the rhythm and on what you want to focus. The important thing in the coaching process is that we keep in mind the common thread that brings us together.

Therefore, all options are open.

At the end of each session, I will ask for your feedback which enables me to better fit your needs and expectations.

In the middle of the process, we will evaluate the situation and reassess your objectives if need be.

Each session is unique as it depends on who and what will be present at our meetings

In the coaching process, you should be mindful and ready. Your awareness is key in coaching. You might feel overwhelmed or lost, which is natural and no cause for concern.

Beyond that process, you might find a lot of surprises, especially about yourself.

Whatever the nature of the coaching is, the coach is responsible of the process, the content and the progress, while you are responsible of the result. You deserve to be successful, therefore it is fundamental that you take this approach seriously.

For an effective individual coaching process, you have to plan between 7 and 12 sessions.

For corporate coaching, this has to be discussed depending on the framework.

Each process therefore requires time and attendance.

Coaching is a process for everyone who wishes to progress in life and enhance personal development.

This is an opportunity to go further.

From my point of view, there are moments in life when we step back and think about what we want to achieve and how.

Coaching is the way to achieve this.

“Nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed.” Antoine Laurent de Lavoisier (1743-1794)

The first meeting is either  a face-to-face or virtual 30-60 minutes session. We need to get to know each other and reduce the unknown.

Here are some examples of topics we might address:

  • What are your objectives?
  • Is coaching the right approach for you?
  • What should you expect?
  • What unexpected things may arise?
  • How does the process work?
  • How much does it cost?
  • Am I the right coach for you?

Then we will plan a call to discuss whether this is the right approach for you and for me, then decide to move forward together or not.

This first session is free of charge and does not implicate any stakeholder commitment.

The coaching process is an investment of time and personal persistence. The process takes place over several weeks, even several months, to a rhythm that can be adjusted to your needs.

A minimum of 7 sessions is required.

Please consider one session every 2 weeks and organize your schedule accordingly.

Every session lasts between 60 and 90 minutes. If a session exceeds 90 minutes, the bill will increase accordingly per 15 minutes.

Meeting are held face-to-face or virtually.

For corporate coaching, the sessions will first start with one-one one sessions to get to know each team member, and then as a group.

The number of sessions depends on the context and framework, as well as the number of participants.

At the end of the coaching process, we will consider your entire journey by:

  • Discussing your progress

  • Taking the time to contemplate the chosen path and how far you’ve come

  • Giving feedback to each other

  • Discussing next steps

  • Payment by bank transfer, credit card or Twint, or as otherwise agreed.

  • Any overrunning sessions are charged per 15 minutes.

  • All payments to be made in Swiss Francs.
